Catch Up Literacy is used in more than 4000 schools across the UK, and has been implemented in clusters of schools by more than 70 local authorities
- Learners in Years 2 – 6 who received Catch Up for an average period of 8.1 months achieved average Reading Age gains of 18.8 months (a mean ratio gain of 2.3).

- Learners in Years 7 – 10 who received Catch Up for an average period of 8.3 months made average Reading Age gains of 16.7 months (a mean ratio gain of 2.01).
Learners in Years 7 – 8 who received Catch Up for an average period of 11 months made average Comprehension Age gains of 15.6 months.

After receiving Catch Up, learners:
- become more self-confident and motivated in class
- feel more in control of their learning
- feel more confident to write independently
- display a much improved attitude towards English
- display a much improved attitude to other subjects in the curriculum
